Evaluate drone applications requiring pilot and response team coordination.

The ‘Rotor Pilot’ commercial drone simulator will support you and accelerate your progress all the way from new pilot to experienced pilot. As a new pilot you will use standard flight modes and controls to pilot drones within the simulator and avoid expensive crashes. The time you spend flying and learning new skills within the simulator will directly benefit your real world flying. Then as an experienced pilot you can practice new scenarios and gain confidence to help ensure the success of your real world assignments.

VR READY: For a fully immersive experience that can really develop your situational awareness enter virtual reality with the addition of an Oculus Rift head set.

Virtual Reality

You are standing in a field with grass all around you and trees in the distance. You look up to see your drone flying close by, you look down at your FPV Monitor to check your camera view and systems information. Occasionally you glance behind to check that no one is approaching your landing zone. Virtual reality brings you all of this and is ideal for practicing your close in line of sight flying while scanning your surroundings and systems. Rotor Pilot puts you into virtual reality with support for Oculus Rift.

Racing Drones

The drone selection room has a range of drones for you to fly ranging from micro Tiny Whoops through mini racers to large X-Class drones. Each has been carefully tuned by top pilots to give you the most accurate flight experience. Time spent flying drones in the simulator will be rewarded with increased skills when flying your real world drones.

Controller Options

For the most realistic flight experience use your real world RC Transmitter to fly drones in Rotor Rush. Depending on your controller you may need to obtain a hard wired or radio linked USB dongle.

If you are new to FPV Racing and don’t own an RC Controller the standard Microsoft Xbox 360 or Xbox One controllers are fully compatible with the simulator. This allows you to experience FPV flying before committing to buy any real world equipment.
